Current needs:
Community & Youth Coordinator
This position will primarily work in Deerfield Community Center’s Youth Programs. Responsibilities will include tasks like planning field trips for summer camp, filling in at programs when there are staff shortages, managing youth programs staff schedules, and assisting with the recruitment/training process of youth programs staff. In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying and planning new youth programs to expand the use of our Center. The Community & Youth Coordinator will also assist in planning and working special events. For example, this team member could manage the concession stand during Deerfield Days, while our Sports Coordinator manages the baseball tournament. Other tasks this position may be involved in are updating the Deerfield Community Center website, social media posts, overseeing facility rentals or assisting in managing our online registration. After School Staff:
Current open positions are as follows:
After School: M-F (school days only), 2:30-5:45PM (flexible start time for student workers)

Summer Sports Intern:
The Deerfield Community Center is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with youth in an indoor & outdoor recreational setting looking for a career in recreation/programming/sports management to fill a summer sports internship (specifically working within baseball programs, kickball, soccer, and football camp). This intern would be assisting the current Sports Coordinator.
Applicants should be currently pursuing a degree in recreation, sports management, physical education or planning to in the future. This is an unpaid internship.
